The Light Bed

Full-body light therapy · Hildale, Utah

The equipment

Twenty-five minutes. Whole body.

You lie down. The panels close around you. Eighteen thousand LEDs, light from above and below. Twenty-five minutes on a timer. A tablet in the room. You set the lights. We set the music.

The Light Bed

What the light is

Four wavelengths. No UV.

Blue · 450 nm

Stays at the surface. Used for skin clarity and for a more alert, daytime session.

Green · 525 nm

Also surface-level. The calmer setting: less visible redness, more even tone.

Red · 660 nm

Works nearer the skin. The usual pick for complexion, tone, and the first layer of recovery after a hard day.

Near-infrared · 850 nm

Reaches deeper, into muscle. The recovery setting for soreness, training days, and heavy work weeks.

There is no UV. This is not a tanning bed.

Frequency programs

The lights can pulse

That is the frequency setting. Rife. Another setting you choose, not a treatment. At orientation we give you suggested frequencies. Keep those, or choose your own. Continuous or pulsed, 1–10,000 Hz, on the tablet in the room.

What people come in for

A quiet reset, on your schedule

We start you on a protocol your first visit and adjust from there.

Sleep & daily rhythm

For days that start too early, end too late, or never settle into a pattern.

Recovery & soreness

Athletes, tradespeople, and anyone whose body takes a beating during the week.

Energy & mood

A standing appointment through the darker months, when the light outside runs short.

Skin & complexion

A consistent routine for tone and texture, twenty-five minutes at a time.

Stress & stillness

Twenty-five minutes with the door closed and the phone somewhere else.

Focus & clarity

A morning session before the week starts, to walk in sharper than you woke up.

Good to know

Before your first session

What to wear

Light-colored, thin fabric is best.

Eye protection

Goggles are available and optional. If you have an eye disease or have had eye surgery, consult your doctor first. People who are light-sensitive should start conservative and say so at orientation.

How often

Most people settle into one or two sessions a week.
